Introduction
This workshop is designed to introduce members or potential members of Tashkeel to the creative opportunities provided by each of the studios. The course is not intended as a specialist workshop, but rather to encourage participants to consider new ways to extend their own creative development and to look at the possibilities for future experimentation and/or collaboration.
The workshop consists of a series of demonstrations and practical exercises covering the use of equipment in each of the major studio disciplines – printmaking, photography, 3D/jewelry, digital media and fine art. Participants will be encouraged to explore ways in which they could combine these skills into their own creative practice as and when appropriate, and there will be limited opportunity for supervised practice outside of the formal workshop hours in some disciplines.
